2024 Winner: Ella Robertson

Bio: My name is Ella Robertson and I am from a small town in Connecticut. I attend Montclair State University in New Jersey as a sophomore and study Nutrition and Food Science. I love to help others, and I plan to use my education to become a registered dietitian.

Reaction Statement: I am overwhelmed with gratitude to have received this scholarship. This opportunity will not only help me continue my education, but it will also offer me renewed determination.

I recently participated in my third focus group with this law firm. They may not be as high profile as other state and national injury law specialists, but they are the best! They are compassionate and thorough as (the "Third Division" of CBS Radio and Television News-Fred W. Friendly and Edward R.) Murrow! (Murrow hired Walter Cronkite.) The firm emphasizes substance over style and logic and rationality! If the need arises, I would absolutely hire them to represent me! Four years ago I was involved in a tragic accident. Having had a very good experience with another attorney at this firm, one of the first things that I did after I was admitted to the hospital was to contact them and ask how to proceed. Admittedly I was initially disappointed to find that the attorney that I used before could not take my case so I would be referred to Tom Pettinicchi. I quickly discovered that my concerns were unfounded. Tom is a brilliant attorney. He and his staff could not have been more thoughtful, compassionate, sincere, and available. They sent beautiful flowers to my hospital room. They brought a gift basket to my home, and when I could not find anyone to drive me to a medical appointment in Manhattan his assistant's husband drove me there.
