Our Homeless Resource Service Center and Emergency Shelter was established in 1984. With 126 beds, it is the largest shelter program in the state of Connecticut. Since its inception, over 16,500 men, women, and children have taken refuge there. An average of 80 single adults and eight families with children find refuge at the shelter each night.

145,000 hot meals are served annually at the St. Vincent DePaul Soup Kitchen, and our Food Pantry provides an equivalent of 200,000 meals annually. The program serves approximately 400 people daily.

Because of your generosity, we can continue to open the door to deserving people experiencing hardship. Thank you again for your support.

Thank you for your interest in supporting the Police Activity League of Waterbury, Inc. The PAL of Waterbury is dedicated to young people throughout the Greater Waterbury area, offering participation in both sports programs and education programs. The PAL of Waterbury provides a safe environment for our children that is free from drugs, gangs and other negative influences. Participation in the PAL programs helps build character, respect, pride and self-discipline while improving life skills.

Proceeds from this year’s drive will go into the General Fund, which will help cover the operational costs of these wonderful programs. In addition, it will help maintain our buildings, classrooms, gym, transportation and insurance costs. With your participation, you will not only be helping operations, but will have personal gratification knowing that you are contributing to the well-being of our children and communities.
