D’Amico Pettinicchi Injury Lawyers will join the Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Central Connecticut on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Rockwell Park in Bristol, bringing 200 Comfort Care Kits to support families transitioning a loved one into assisted living, a nursing home, or another long-term care setting.
We created these kits to offer a small connection to home during an emotional transition. Each tote includes a blanket, puzzles, playing cards, a coloring book and crayons, a magnifier, a picture frame, and a $15 Barnes & Noble gift card. A family resource folder accompanies the comfort items, providing information about resident rights, important contacts, and steps to take when concerns arise.
For more than 35 years, our firm has worked with families whose loved ones have been seriously injured in care facilities. The kits extend that commitment beyond our legal work helping loved ones feel more at home while giving families practical resources to stay informed and involved.
Thomas P. Pettinicchi and Jeremy D’Amico will join families, caregivers, and advocates at the walk. During the Promise Garden ceremony, Tom will serve as our firm’s Orange Flower Holder, while the emcee shares what participating means to our team.
At our firm-sponsored Refreshments Tent, walkers can stop by for water, fresh fruit, and snacks, connect with our team, and learn more about the Comfort Care Kits, available while supplies last.
