D’Amico Pettinicchi Injury Lawyers Supports the Fight to End Alzheimer’s

D’Amico Pettinicchi Injury Lawyers is proud to support the Alzheimer’s Association and its mission to advance research, provide care and support, and work toward a world without Alzheimer’s disease.

This year, we will be participating in two important events dedicated to raising awareness and supporting individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

The first event is the 2026 Miles for Memories Mini-Walk, taking place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the White Memorial Conservation Center in Litchfield. Later this year, we will also participate in the 2026 Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Central Connecticut on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Rockwell Park in Bristol.

Alzheimer’s disease impacts millions of individuals and families across the country. Through these events, participants come together to honor loved ones, support caregivers, raise awareness, and help fund critical research aimed at finding treatments and ultimately a cure.

Supporting these walks is especially meaningful to our firm as we continue our efforts to advocate for older adults and their families through community outreach, education, and initiatives such as our Comfort Care Kits for families navigating transitions into long-term care settings.

We are honored to stand alongside the Alzheimer’s Association, participants, caregivers, volunteers, and supporters who are working to make a difference in the lives of those affected by this disease.

We invite members of our community to join us in supporting these important events and the ongoing fight to end Alzheimer’s. For more information, view the event here: https://act.alz.org/site/TR/Walk2026/CT-Connecticut?pg=entry&fr_id=19503

Honored to Support the Watertown Food Bank This Holiday Season

D’Amico Pettinicchi Injury Lawyers is honored to have received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Town of Watertown Human, Social & Leisure Services in recognition of our support of the Watertown Food Bank during the holiday season.

In a letter to our team, Watertown Social Services shared their sincere gratitude for what they described as a very large donation of food, noting how thrilled they were with the community response and the joy it brought to hundreds of local families. Group photo of alumni, community professionals, and faculty gathered inside the library at Holy Cross High School during Career Exploration Day, featuring presenters from a wide range of professional fields.
From Holy Cross to the Courtroom: Jeremy D’Amico Shares His Legal Journey with Students

D’Amico Pettinicchi Injury Lawyers was proud to be represented at Holy Cross High School Career Exploration Day, an engaging event that brought alumni, parents, former faculty, and community professionals back to campus to connect with students and share real-world career experiences. The Holy Cross High School Career Exploration Day created a welcoming environment where students could explore a wide range of professions and begin thinking about the paths available to them beyond high school.

Attorney Jeremy D’Amico, a Holy Cross alumnus from the Class of 2007, returned to his alma mater to speak with students about his journey to becoming a lawyer. During the day, Jeremy shared what inspired him to pursue a career in law, the educational path required, and what the day-to-day practice of law looks like in the real world. His perspective offered students an honest look at the profession and emphasized the importance of hard work, integrity, and dedication.

The Holy Cross High School Career Exploration Day began with students circulating among presenters in a large group setting, allowing for one-on-one conversations and informal discussions. Students then participated in smaller breakout sessions, giving them the opportunity to ask thoughtful questions and gain deeper insight into various career paths. This format encouraged meaningful dialogue and helped students better understand how their interests and strengths can translate into future opportunities.

Jeremy’s participation reflects D’Amico Pettinicchi Injury Lawyers’ ongoing commitment to education, mentorship, and community involvement. We believe giving back means sharing knowledge, offering guidance, and supporting the next generation as they explore their goals and ambitions. Opportunities like this help students build confidence, broaden their perspectives, and gain valuable exposure to careers they may not have otherwise considered.

We are proud to support Holy Cross High School and applaud its leadership for creating what promises to be a meaningful and lasting tradition. Events like Holy Cross High School Career Exploration Day play an important role in inspiring students and strengthening connections between schools, alumni, and the greater community.

In 2022, my life changed in a matter of seconds. I was mauled and dragged by a dog that trespassed onto my property and attacked me and my two dogs. I was in complete shock. I didn’t know what to do, who to call, or how to even process what had just happened. I felt terrified, cornered, and completely alone. When I started reaching out to lawyers, most didn’t truly listen. Some rushed the conversation, some minimized what happened, and some just didn’t seem to understand the trauma of being attacked in your own home. Then I spoke with Stacy. She understood immediately — not just the legal side, but the shock, fear, and emotional aftermath. That moment mattered more than I can put into words. From that point forward, Tom Pettinichi, Stacy Crochet, and Sam were there for me in a way I will never forget. From 2022 on, they walked with me through every doctor visit, every appointment, every setback, and every hard day. When I felt broken, overwhelmed, or completely alone, they did not disappear. They showed up. My case was complex. My injuries were not simple or “textbook.” I suffered lasting physical injuries, PTSD, and the devastating loss of my dog. Despite the emotional weight of this case and how long it took, they never gave up on me. They did not push me into a quick settlement just to move on. They fought — for every dollar, every detail, and every moment of accountability. I truly believe most attorneys would have walked away from my case or settled at the first offer. Tom and his team did the opposite. They prepared my case as if it were going to trial, leaving no holes, no shortcuts, and no excuses. For four and a half years, they kept me informed, supported, and treated me like a human being — not just a case file. When I felt like there was no hope left for me, they reminded me that I had rights, that what happened to me mattered, and that I deserved justice. I will forever be grateful to Tom Pettinichi, Stacy Crochet, and Sam. If you are suffering after a personal injury — especially if you are traumatized, grieving, or feel like no one is listening — this is the team that will stand with you when you need it most.

I can’t recommend D’Amico and Pettinicchi Law Firm enough. From the very beginning, they were responsive, professional, and genuinely invested in my case. They explained every step clearly, answered all of my questions promptly, and made a stressful situation feel manageable. My car accident left me with a life long injury that isn’t noticeable to the naked eye. I was nervous to even ask someone to take my case but they didn’t hesitate. Attorney Jeremy D’Amico believed in me, he reassured me that I had the confidence and capability to be able to articulate my injuries to others and in doing so the outcome greatly exceeded my expectations. I’m incredibly grateful for the hard work and dedication from him and his team. If you need someone knowledgeable, trustworthy, and truly on your side, don’t wait any longer to give them a call!

I was referred to Attorney Mike D’Amico by my uncle after getting into a car accident, and I could not be happier with the outcome. Mike really went above and beyond to make things right for me, which I am incredibly grateful for. He took the time to fully understand all the details of my case and was very thorough and patient in guiding me through the process. He made sure I always understood what was going on, and it was clear that he genuinely cared about my situation and the outcome. The team here is extremely professional, compassionate, and great at what they do. Stacy was a huge help and fantastic to work with on my case. She stayed on top of everything and was always prompt and easy to communicate with. The team took a huge weight off my shoulders, and I couldn’t be happier with what they made happen. I can’t thank them enough and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Attorney Pettinicchi and paralegal Stacy were wonderful to work with. I had a complex and severe multiple-dog attack case. It took over 3 years to get to resolution, but we did! From Day 1 when Stacy came to my house to take photos and interview me, through multiple preparations with Attorney Pettinicchi, they were amazing. Attorney Pettinicchi knew how to explain things in a way that a lay person could understand. They even conducted a focus group at their law firm as the case had some unique characteristics. They went above and beyond. Let's hope you never need a personal injury attorney, but if you do...use this firm!
